I downloaded a Video from Youtube about Ford Trucks, to put on my 5th-Generation iPod I bought about a week ago, and the video is in the right format, but yet it tells me that my iPod cannot play videos, even though it can...
What gives?
Please help me...
Can you put other videos on it and view them properly? Is it possible that the Youtube video contained some sort of DRM to keep people from ripping it?
I don't know squat about iPods, but other players come with conversion software for vids. I don't know why.
They will say that they play mpegs or whatever, but only after you run it through their gimmick.
Other than that I'd suggest looking on the web -- google iPods and videos etc. With all of the APple fanboys around, somebody should be able to help you out.
So, it seems the iPod has either a file size restriction on the videos or it doesn't like the higher resolutions... With the limited amount of internal memory and the limitations the mobile software has, it doesn't really surprise me...
I had a similar problem with an MP3 player once - it wouldn't play the music files unless I re-copied them at a lower kb/s setting to shrink them down...
