Unplug everything all of the drives from the powersupply, so just the motherboard and video card are getting power (CPU fan as well, but unplug the case fans).
If it starts then, at least through the bios, then it might be the powersupply if there is too much load with all the drives. Is this a new computer that you just built? or one that was working and now isn't?
If just built, check to see if the power switch is plugged into the correct jumpers.
Only 4 screws holding the motherboard in? Yah there should be more than that! Might have to check that there aren't standoff that aren't being used, and are grounding out something on the back of the board. dave ur laft i did a post test took it out of the case hook everthing up and presto it booted up so it know scew to a pice ply wood and presto can u say red neck lol
