Does your truck still run? Looks like the spacer off the IPR.

Yes it is running just a good size oil leak. I have not figured out
I was thinking it looked like it was the smaller of the two in the center of this picture http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...chmentaspx.jpg

Injection Pressure Regulator. It screws into the bottom of the HPOP. I'd guess yours has been changed and this is riding around in your valley ever since.

Here's a picture from the IPR re-seal kit that Guzzle sells.

That is it for sure.
If this just came out would not have any oil at all?? Not just a leak. 1/2 gal in about 100 miles.

If that came off your IPR, you're truck wouldn't be running. Clean things up then check to see where the leak is coming from. It's probably on o-ring. Check the HPOP lines and plugs if it's toward the front. Check the turbo pedestal o-rings, EBPV actuator rod if the leak is toward the rear.

Thats the IPR spacer, and it will run without the nut and spacer, mine ran for probably 20k miles with the IPR nut and spacer gone.

Look for the nut in the valley also, its probably there.

These things wiggle off really easy, ive had it happen two times so far.

Wow. That's the first I've heard of that. Usually when the nut falls off, the soleniod becomes loose enough the IPR quits working. Was your solenoid seized up on the IPR? Did it run better when you put the spacer and nut back on?

Well, it was wierd, if you set the sensor so the wire connector was angled about 45 degrees from straight up and down, it ran, move it vertical, it would die.

Didnt notice to much difference when I finally fixed it and tightened everything up. Only found out I had that problem with the HPOP started leaking, and I was investigating. About a month later, replaced the hpop, put in a new IPR.....

Shouldnt have ran, sensor was pretty loose on the shaft of the ipr, and I have no idea why rotating the sensor made it run, versus not running, my truck is weird.....has its own personality....

Thanks for your help. I will check it out more tomorrow. From what I could see I had oil the whole length of the galley.

I was able to see the IPR and it did not have the nut on the end of the IPR and it was loose. There was oil coming down the underside of the IPR so I think I found my leak.
Thanks
