Howdy Steve...hope ya'll are enjoying the snow. The rain/snow hasn't started at the Fort yet...but I can see it on the radar out in Okie land. Just a matter of time if it holds together.
Yup, that kinda went through my head. Glad that's out of the way. Now to tackle swapping the rear end and getting a drive shaft made...then there's welding up the gaping hole in the floor cut by a previous owner(swapped in a 4 sp), fixing the dash wiring...and...and...and...
Better watch out, those words usually turn into a full frame off restoration.
Well, it's off to the Bay to work on the house, got the plumbing finished yesterday, only had one small leak, new 3/4" PVC between the well pressure tanks was split Now somebody remind me why I don't like PVC Still having problems with the squirrels, took out a few yesterday with the .22 see how many are left to do more damage
Heard my '61 breathe fire for the first time today! Not ready for the road by a long shot, but at least I know it's gonna run.
I remember firing up the 66' after it had sat up for so long, Open headers.. oh yeah! Living out in BFE has its advantages sometimes.

Dad built his place in 83 with pvc and cpvc, only places he's had trouble since are the copper air dams he used. The well water ate them up.
I used all cpvc, but I'm not a big fan of the plastic male/female threaded fittings, so I used these brass transition unions..
Time will only tell if it was a good decision or not.. Although when I first hooked everything up, I forgot I needed a pressure regulator.
I don't know how much pressure exactly there was, but it pegged my 120psi gauge and the only leak i had was on the steel threads on the shower head.
Hey Dave, is that a home or shop/factory built trailer? Good looking a trailer, is it a 10k or 14k? Two brothers and I purchased a 10k pound cap trailer last weekend. We're going to have to do some work to so that it fits our needs...but the price was right.
It's a 20' dovetail, 10K. Our trucks pretty well max it out.
