2003 F250 Gem Module. HELP NEED ONE!

I am new at this but hope some of you can help me out or point me in the right direction. I have a 2003 F 250 6.0 Diesel and 4X4 is out. Dealer states I need a GEM Module. I have called 30 dealerships and all say it is on back order? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Part # is 3c3Z14B205AA General Electronic Module

First check under dash and try to determine if water has actually gotten to gem mod. Look for rust and other signs. If you think your gem mod has gotten wet remove it and and clean up the contacts of any corrosion etc. Try to stop the leakage that caused this. If your contacts inside are discolored or have green on them remove it.

So true, lucky I caught that my windshield was the cause before any damage happened. My radio would turn on by itself when it would rain because someone installed a windshield that was not made for the truck.
