swapping in a d60
Hey everybody, new guy here. I have a 79 f150 that I am swapping a front d60 in from a 78 f250. The 60 had springs but I want to convert it to run the coils I have on there now from the d44. Does somebody make kit that I can use? Thanks for any info.

You should try fullsizebronco.com under solid axle swaps. You will have to get a pair of C-Wedges from james duff Bronco and weld them on to the axle. Duff sells the wedges for Dana 60's. It will require that you weld them on with proper care to line up the proper knuckle castor (5 deg) , correct drive shaft pinion angle and axle centering. Your Dana 44 should be a good guide to help line these up correctly for the Dana 60.
