I just picked it up from a guy. It runs or ran when it was parked. It is an an original engine i had just planned on rebuilding it and putting a better cam in it and changing the intake and carb. Maybe i'll have to use a slightly thicker head gasket or something

The torque was 480 ft/lbs @ 2800. The 3400 was for the CJ and the Boss but the numbers were lower, 450 ft/lbs for the CJ and and the Boss.
Ford claimed 11.1 to 1 compression ratio for the standard 429, while the CJ was rated 11.3 to 1 with a nominal number of 10.7 to 1, whatever that means. The Boss was rated at 10.5 to 1 compression.
