Anything else I should do??

Quite a few things I've been getting taken care of in the last 2 months.
  • New Ball joints
  • New locking hubs (old ones were locked in)
  • 6 exhaust bolts replaced
  • New pads, calipers and rotors all the way around... 3 of the 4 calipers all locked up within a few weeks of each other
  • New battery... finally replaced the original
  • New starter, maybe because of the older battery, who knows.
Within the last 2 years, I've also replaced all of the plugs, cleaned MAF about once a year, replaced power steering pump, and had the transmission and differentials flushed/refilled.

I'm most likely going to be keeping this truck for another 5-7 years and want it to run like it does now for the entirety of that time. It currently has 105K miles, and runs great. I'll have to be putting new exhaust on it this summer sometime. I don't do much towing with it anymore since we have left our camper parked on a permanent site the last 2 years, but I do plan on towing this summer out west. Otherwise its my daily driver.

I'm wondering if there is anything else that I should be looking at replacing or at least having checked? Since I've already spent an arm and a leg getting to this point, I might as well keep going...
  • Timing chain/belt? (I don't know which it has)...
  • Anything else?
Just trying to protect what I depend on every day... Any comments/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

The modulars have two very long timing chains, you should easily be able to get at least another 100k out of them with no problems.

Change the fuel filter if you havn't already, its good to change it at least every 15k miles. Change the ATF in the transfer case if you didn't already. Might want to take a look at the needle bearings (front only) and lubricate them if they are still good. Maybe try to grease the unit bearings through the ABS hole also.
