Go Google Yourself

So, it is the middle of the night and all my work got canceled tonight due to the "snow storm". After getting really bored and finding nothing new on here to comment on, I ended up on Google. Punched in my name and found I share my name with a photographer, a financial reporter, a fine wine (Martin Ray) and the owner of a hybrid limo company in Philly. If I dig deep enough I found links to some posts I made on another site. No good dirt comes up at least.

So, any of you ever google yourself? What did you find?

Fun idea! On Google I found out that I share my name with a Real Estate Agent, an Athlete of the Week at a high school in Ohio, and someone due for release in 2015.

On Yahoo I found out that I share my name with a doctoral candidate, a weirdo animal rights activist and the drummer in a Punkrock band..

I wonder what I'll find with my maiden name?..........

Whew!!!!!!!!! I was worried.

Good news. I am the ONLY person (actually found by Google) to have this name.
At least no-one else's family had a 'strange' sense of humor.

(No, I'm not the boy named "Sue".)

Only one other person with my name: my dad. I am a "junior".
Fortunately, only positive citations were found on Google for either of us.

I've done this before. I share my name with a big band leader, now deceased. Lots of links to him though. I also found a link to a list of relatives. A man had researched his ancestors and my family, including me, was one of them. The interesting part was that my wife was looking at names there also and her family was also listed there. She recognized a name also. I married a distant relative, lol.

I found that I share the same first and last names with a former staffer for former Sen. Fred Thompson. I've also found posts I've made to various boards and newsgroups, some of them dating back 15 years!

Gee thanks Ray. Out of curiousity, I had to try it too. I found out I'm a dead preacher, an 18 year old punk on MySpace throwing gang signs, and an attorney. I can't win for losing.

I share my name with a couple of dentists and a guy that was murdered.

I used to be able to pull up old web site pages with me on them when I was in a band a few years back. But Yahoo must have deleted them as I can't find any trace of me on Google.

But I didn't dig too many pages back.
