1990 f150 Automatic hubs problem

hey all we just got hit with a blizzard today and i put my truck into 4wd and it banged into it and then when i drive it clangs and makes grinding noises i dono what the problem is or how to fix it and would it just be better to makem manual hubs ? it does stay in 4wd it just makes alot of noise when im going down the road

sounds more like your u-joints. the swap is like 100 bucks and around an hour. that is a good thing to replace but if it is staing in and working rhan it may be the u-joints.

100 bucks isnt bad at all i think ill just do that and fix the u joints

Going to be more than an hour. If it's grinding and banging, stop driving it until you figure out what's wrong with it.
