You could always replace your interior lights with some red LEDs too. You'll notice a huge difference at night when you need them. You can still see the road and what you are looking for in the car. That's the first thing I add to my trucks when I install the laptop mounts. Then I can work at night or early morning without having vision issues.
There may be direct replacements but they're often physical different sizes:
Surface Mount Diode H3 lamp compared to Halogen. Much different in size.
I put these in the fog lights I use for backup lights on my camping trailer as road vibration was knocking the filaments out of the H3s every year. I had to remove a light shield from inside the light that originally blocked light directly to the front of the lens and only allowed light from the rear reflector to exit. Not enough road time with the trailer this year to determine how well they hold up -- they put out nice yellow light.
Yeah physically these are taller bulbs but I never considered them not fitting in the housing. I am going to mess with it again a little later, if not I will head back to the drawing board and try to find some shorter ones.
