axle swap ????

Will a rear axle from a 76 ford 1/2 ton 4x4 fit on a 79 ford full size bronco

(spring width and frame width)

Yes and no- The Bronco axle was the same width as the old pre-72 F100 rear axle, so the new one will stick out a little further. Otherwise it should be pretty direct, even if it's not moving perches is easy.
