Grille Shell - Ebay
I searched last night, but couldn't find anything regarding these grilles. Has anyone out there purchased one, and if so, how bad was it???

To be honest for $195 and free shipping i wouldn't expect very much in terms of a quality grille, i'd be very cautious before throwing my money at one, my instincts tell me it's just a poor quality grille from overseas.

Not sure if this is the one, or a different one, some guys on here said they were bending them up beyond use while they were bolting them on. I would have to side with montana_highboy on this one.

I had previously purchased one of those aftermarket ones from LMC, and it was obviously thinner than stock, and could be bent with just your fingers.
So, I waited....until about two months ago when there was a NOS grille shell on ebay that was still in the box. Granted, I paid top dollar for it, but I got me a genuine, brand spankin new Ford grille shell! I even got it out of the box and compared it to an old stock one, and the aftermarket one...it's the real deal.
My advice would be to save your money, and eventually the right one will come along....worked that way for me.

I'm pretty sure the previous owner of my 75 put on one of these cheapo ones. I'm positive it wasn't stock, Don't know if it was an LMC or an EBAY one. It was super thin and i cut my knuckles on it a couple times. I took it off to put a cam in and put it right back in without any problems. It wasn't super high quality or anything but it looked great. Just wear gloves if you're working around it if you get one!

Don't waste your Money! I bought one of these and was shocked at how bad it is. Horrible finish-cheapest Taiwan aluminum, thin, bends with one finger, fit, doesn't. Mine was 4-6" off in width. You are better off buying a used OEM grille and polish it yourself or take it to a shop.

I have the factory one on my truck now, but it's got a couple of decent size dents in it. I have no problem spending the extra $$$ for a good one, but finding one has been difficult. I was thinking of repairing the dents in mine somehow, and having it chromed?
