tapping noise when engine shuts off

tapping noise when engine shuts off
I have an 06 f250 cc with the 5.4l gas. When i turn the engine off their is a tapping like somehting tapping on a tin pan coming from several places. Anyone have a clue what is making the noise and what can fix it?

that is your exhaust expanding and then contracting from the heat

This noise is very common in most of today's vehicles and should not be of concern.
