1975 highboy frame
I found an ad locally for a 1975 F250 4x4 highboy frame for sale,no body,engine,trans or transfer case,front and rear end still there as well as springs and rear bumper.ad says its in excellant shape.
I called the number and found out its about a mile from my shop,asking price is $500.
I'm going to go look at it here soon and see if its in as good a shape as described,which would be very hard to believe in this neck of the woods,but I've been surprised before.I can't see paying $500 for it,after talking to the guy I would think the price could be negotiated.I will let you guys know in an hour or so what I find.

well I went and looked at this frame,its solid,needs to be taken apart,blasted and painted but it is 35 years old,someone had put a later box on it and did a decent job of making and welding tabs to the frame to bolt it too.
dana 60 rear,low pinion,closed knuckle,drum brake dana 44 up front.
power assist steering all there and complete,not that that is much of a bonus and the price dropped to $250 before I left.
I told the guy I'd have to ponder the thought for a few days,it is deffinatly usable and I can get my hands on an old uhaul that has a good running 400/C6 with a great cab and clip cheap so that would be a good start to a nice 4x4.
