I'm switching from kerosene to an industrial solvent in my parts washer, and it says it will make 25 gallons for a 5 gal. drum, but it doesn't way what to use to dilute it with. What am I supposed to use.
I called the Manufacture and found out it was just plain water. Seems weird to me considering this stuff is petro based. Oh well, guess I'll use water.
the reason you use water in your solvent is the water will settle to bottom if tank leaving solvent on top. when you wash parts all the grim you wash down it settles at the bottom in the water. so that your solvent is filtered to a point
