2nd Row Seat Help
Prior Owner took out & got rid of 2nd Row seat on a '04 XLT Excursion.
So I'm trying to figure out the best way to replace without spending a truck load of $$$. Plus I have no experience with this truck.
I've done some internet & junk yard searches with little luck. Concerned about a couple of things.
1) Best Source(s) - I read threads about seat swaps but since I have nothing to swap - where should I look?
2) Fit/Match - do all the model year seats match the floor bolt pattern? It looks like it had the bench seat 2nd row arrangement before .
3) Color match - found a site - car direct - that shows exterior & interior colors by year - looks like Ford made the Tan cloth lighter in '04 than in previous years. Any other way to determine color match?

All seats fits. Nno difference through the years.
1. Bets source would be from a local junkyard or one where you can physically see the seat (of course). You could also try eBay.
2. The interior trim color is denoted on the door jamb label. You may be able to match it to a donor truck if the truck is whole and in a place too far for you to visit.

I tried e-bay and found one but that's when the color looked off (darker Tan than '04) -sent e-mail to seller but no response yet.
Local Junk Yard - right now I'm separated from the Truck - so doing some research in hopes of speeding up process when I travel back or see if I can do anything in the meantime
