Yeah I was thinking the 240 was discontinued in 1970 and that would have made that wrong, but it was only dropped from the full size cars in 1970 i continued on in the trucks. Hey nobodies perfect.

I would never ever trust anything from Wikipedia (If that's were you got it from)
Because any Joe Smith can write those articles and not know what they are talking about.
Besides, they got the year wrong. FEs were last used in trucks in '76.
They didn't use 352s in any '73 Ford....
The FE was introduced as a 332 in '58...

Actually, the FE series was introduced in 1958 as a 332 (4.00" bore X 3.30" stroke) then later that year upped to 352 cid.

I believe it was originally for the Edsel Division of Ford...

The 332 was available in both Ford and Edsel. The Edsel didn't have any exclusive FE series engines. It did have a 383 cid V8 that was exclusive to Edsel that was based on the 430 cid Lincoln V8.
The FE was available in cars and light trucks over the years as 332, 352, 360 (light truck only), 390, 406, 410 (Mercury only), 427, and 428.
