nightmare problems.
I have a 78 Ford F-100 custom cab. I have a couple of problems with it though. First problem is the dash lights dont work. I tried replacing the Ribbon cable on the back of the cluster, but it didn't work. My next problem is the blinkers don't work. I am led to believe its all the same problem because I also replaced the harness cable for the blinker switch. My last and final problem is the speedometer cable I cant find the hole on the transmission for it. I have a ACE Co. transmission, not sure the size though it is a manual 4 speed. can anyone help?

not sure the size though it is a manual 4 speed. can anyone help?As for your dash lights and turn signals, I'll assume you have checked the fuses already. If you haven't, the dash lights have a 3A fuse (upper left on the fuse box), and the turn signals have a 15A fuse (lower right). Then check the back of the fuse box for corrosion.
As for the transmission, what kind of shifter do you have? Is it a long one that comes out of the floor from under the dash area, out of the floor back toward the seat, or is it on the column?
