got the green light
so the wife gave me the green light to start another project for myself today. I think im gonna stop playing with the 53 and do what i wanted to do from the first and build the hallowed 56 effie. could people keep an eye out for good project trucks for me, no drivetrain necessary because its gonna have a modern drivetrain etc in it. Not in a huge hurry to get it, i can wait a couple of years before i start on it but if i find a gooder i might grab it sooner rather than later.

That kicks *** man, I cant wait to see what your gonna do with one, as you seem to have some pretty sweet ideas!
I was actually doing a little dealing with a guy that had 7 48-56 complete ford and merc trucks, that had actually looked in pretty good shape. Bottom line he had wanted 6500 bucks for all of them, didnt want to separate, and a guy would have to have them trucked in from alberta.
Was tempting...

im kinda planning a decent rolling 56 body with frame, find a big block parts car from pre 75 (390, 460, 454,502, 427,428,429) take front clip, motor, tranny, rear end, steering column, seats, seat belts, fuel tank, and pretty much everything i can from it. i figure with my growing family and such i can prolly have it finished in 3-5 years as long aqs i can find a donor car
