I ask because I am still getting a P0603 DTC. However, upon removal and inspection of the PCM, there is no chip installed.
I suspect the PCM was flashed by the original owner because the P0603 DTC is being thrown, there is no physical modification and....drum roll....there is a SuperChips sticker inside the glovebox!!

I think I would rather find out I was adopted than my truck had been flashed with a superchip tune by the PO.

That is a common code to get when you flash the PCM or add a chip.
Why not reflash the PCM to a factory flash? This will make it go away.

I do not have any engine problems and the truck runs like a whistle. I'll leave her be for now.
I'm not interested in any aftermarket parts/programming. I just want her to see 300,000 miles and take good care of her so she will take good care of me.
