Aggrivations

Alright, so my $150 F150 will not start after I got the carb bolted up after the rebuild.

I can smell the gas coming out the pipe, but still no start. (doesn't help that the battery terminals were so corroded that it wouldn't even crank untill I cleaned them). I'm wondering if I have spark, but it's already dark and really cold outside, so I gave up for the night. There's a pretty big chance that one of my friends, who's not the brightest crayon in the beer keg bulb pack knocked a connector loose while climbing around inside the engine compartment (something that I love about this 300, soo much room under the hood)

Anyways... I think I just had to rant a little. Hopefully tomarrow things will turn out better lol. Along with the trip to the j/y I have planned.

I know this is an older thread, but the OP is currently online and I'm experiencing the same problems after my rebuild. I have a 1985 300/I6 with the feedback carb. I just rebuilt it, but the truck now wont start. Before the rebuild (two weeks ago), the truck started every time.
