Gettin me a gauge tomorrow and check it. Now im having problems with my truck skipping like crazy. This thing is "christine". Its driving me crazy!!
well the problem is if your running the truck with low oil pressure you could be causing that problem, when your at the store picking up an oil gauge tomorrow have the codes checked, it would be better to not drive the truck until you know you have pressure though
All I can say is WOW!!!! Ya know whats cool about the both of you?
Your passion in your field of expertise. Hey Ford, I too thank you for your service to our great country and bluegrass thanks for the tips. I would be willing to bet the both of you have FORGOTTEN more about mechanicing than I will ever know.
Thanks to all the great people on this great sight. I have learned alot in my very short time here.
PS: I also learned not to **** the two of you off lol!!!
I know the crap service some people that call themselves techs will do, that is why proper diag is so important, just don't throw parts at a vehicle and hope
I have to go along with Fordtech08 on this diagnosis first versus parts replacement first. One way is thoughtful and the other is just shooting from the hip, so to speak. Also any experienced engine tech will have an oil pressure guage in his tool box for just this type of situation. I have found that most dealers have lots of service tools and a lot of them are broken or missing parts and cannot be used without wasting time looking for them or repairing the tool. Thats why some dealer techs have well over $100,000 invested in tools and it keeps Snap-On, Mac and others in business.
The nicest thing about this forum is that there are lots of people here that have a lot of experience that they are willing to share for FREE and we all learn from each others misfortunes and experience. I am not one to be involved in a forum to turn every thread into a pissing contest. I certainly hope this forum stays much the way I found it; ACTIVE & INFORMATIVE.

I apologize fordman for highjacking your thread, so let us know if you had pressure so we can move on to your engine miss
If you can't address each other in a civil manner then just back out of this thread and go cool off. I have better things to do than play nursemaid in Romper Room.
Better yet, I will just remove the childish, useless post and leave the useful tech info here.
I f you have access, I would check actual oil pressure to verify all is well. It is common for the sending unit to fail. Your miss may be totally unrelated. Coils are know to fail at times. Scan for codes while you are at it to see if a cylinder misfire shows up.
