Alright, I was in town this morning running an errand for my mom. I was stopped at a light with a duramax on my left. My radar detector was going off on the Ka band(which around here is exclusively a cop band). He was revving up his truck and looking at me like he was wanting a race. Now "knowing" a cop was around, I didn't rev the truck, but I did wink at him. Light turns green and he launches, next thing I see is blue lights and I pull over and let the cop get him and I just wave as I go on by(I know the waving was probably rubbing it in).
Now I knew I couldn't be the duramax as far as right off the line, now give me enough of a "strip" and I can take him I'm sure, but it would take awhile. Now, I find this funny, but do y'all think I was evil in knowing that there was a cop and making it such that the guy got a ticket despite him being in a duramax?
Since you asked, I'd rather let a fellow motorist know there was a threat than bait him into a ticket.. If he wanted to run after the fact, that's his bust..
So why do you think you would have been beaten? The extra hips on your rig? I get that the Duramax has the Allison tranny, but an Isuszu motor....I can't see it.

I know, that's what made me feel a little guilty about it all.

It was more of the weight issue then it was the hips.
What sucks for me is that although I live in NorthEast NC, I do most of my driving in VA...which of course is the only state in the Union with the exception of the District of Columbia where they're banned.

There's a bill in the General Assembly right now to make them legal again. As soon as I hit the border heading to Hatteras, mine goes on the dash.
