Tuners are vehicle specific and can only be used on one vehicle at a time. If you want to be able to tune 2 different vehicles at the same time you will need to buy 2 tuners and etc. A tuner like the SCT Xcal3 is more flexible (but still VIN locks) than some of the more widely advertised tuners like Superchips and Hypertech. You will find if you switch over to an SCT Xcal3 with custom tunes you will get more perfomance out of either vehicle.
Thought maybe someone had figured out how to "fool" the machine to allow multiple vehicles. Of course you would need to keep the information on a laptop or such.
I would think if any of the more popular tuners allowed (easy) 2 vehicle use they could become a #1 seller pretty quick. I doubt I'd ever need an option like that, but obviously there will be a good number of Super Duty owners that would take advantage of it.

I came across this one today. My biggest question is, can I use it to program multiple vehicles.
i.e. 1999 F250SD 4x4 6.8, 2004 F350SD DRW 6.8, 2005 Expidition 5.4.
Is there a way to download the original config to a PC, so I can load another config into it and manage multiple vehicles?
BTW, I did however it says I have to de-tune one vehicle before tuning another, so what I am looking for is real world
Thanks
