temp related running problem??

i agree with the scanner. Auto Enginuity, snap on solus, something that is PSD capable. only reason i didn't throw that out there is b/c you had told me that you couldn't get one, but if you can find a way to get your hands on something it will help. pull the codes, write them down, then clear them. get it up to operating temp then run an injector buzz test(this will test the solenoids on the injectors) then run a cylinder contribution test to figure out which cylinders are having problems so you know where to look so you aren't looking at everything. you can start pinpointing the problem if you can just get a scanner on it.

alright so got it started and it idles PERFECTLY and 3 seconds later the CEL flicks on and it just dies no bucking or missing it just dies. The local diesel shop said if I could tow it to them they would hook it up to there laptop for free , just gotta figure out a way to get it there
