'78 F150 Stalling
I have a '78 F150 Custom, 302 auto. After driving on the freeway, whenever I pull up to a stop sign, the engine stalls. It cranks right up again with no problem but when I try to put it in gear it stalls again. I have set the curb idle to spec. and the timing is fine. Any ideas? I can drive around town all day with no trouble it's just after freeway driving I have trouble, I don't get it. Any help is appreciated....

Your problem might be your transmission, If it only stalls after freeway driving it is possible thet the transmission is staying in third gear until it cools down or gets a jar from starting and stalling a few times.
