I know this is not the answer that your looking for, but I couldn't resist.
Some dough. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
There are a few ways. New 05 lights, and trimming the inner panel that is under the grille, or getting the new panel, and then you will need to upgrade the harness for the new bulbs. I think you will find a few write ups on this in the superduty forum, or the search.
Some show the pictures of the cut outs that you have to make in the panel.
I have the 05 headlight swap as well as MKM's 05+ grille. Great investment!!
So when you do the grille and light swap, what trimming is necessary? The one on ebay comes pre trimmed and ready to install, but $350. Can you get it cheaper and do the trimming necessary, and also to the lights?
The grille is direct bolt in from MKM...no trimming. The 05+ headlights still require trimming of the fiberglass shroud behind the lights since they are deeper. It's an easy job though...

Who's MKM? Nevermind. I now see it's the company I found on Ebay. Is that a good price?
I like the way the newer lites look but I've had a terrible time burning up the pigtails to the headlite bulbs. The 9008/H13 bulbs have a LOUSY connection design that relies on tiny pins to carry the voltage. I was running stock power HELLA bulbs and had a relay harness with the original lites. I have the heaviest duty pigtails there are for the bulbs...
After several late-nite, roadside pigtail replacements I bought ElectroSport HID's. NOT CHEAP, but have low and hi beams and supposed to have factory fill-in and cut-off lines to prevent annoying oncoming drivers. We'll see!!!!!!!!!!
As far as light goes, I have been EXTREMELY satisfied with the '02-'04 clear lens lights and 80/100 watt HELLA bulbs with a relay harness. I seldom want more light and in 5yrs and LOTS of nite driving, no one has ever thought I had my brights on.
