Hello and welcome to FTE.
This truck sounds pretty close to original, dents are easier to get rid of then rust. I see that Bill did reply in the 1961 - 1966 F-100 And Larger F-Series Trucks forum.

Hey there Mass, where abouts are you located? I have a 62 F100 that I am working on myself. More of a Hot Rod than restore as previous owner switched out the Engine and Tranny. Most everything else looks original though.
