I am not blaming anyone on this forum. I realize it is my responsibility. But not knowing much about the GT40 heads, I would of assume since recommendation was to convert and get rid of the stock heads a quoted as "boat anchors" and use GT40's and these have been used in multi projects I thought I would of ran into this issue. BTW they are off of a 1994 explorer and are not older heads. I have seen on the internet lately other people having the same problem, but can’t find what they did to fix the problem. So if anyone has a sugestion I would appreciate it. Thanks Art

Hmm, Explorers didn't have a 5.0 engine option until '96......I bet you got a set of GT40's from a marine motor possibly....

Sorry to hear the run of bad luck DSC. I do not know what is all involved with the sniffer test for Maryland, but you could just run fine without crossover pipe istalled and leave the the other smog companents in there respective places and go from there.

If I were close enough, I'd help take the prject off your hands, but I don't. Missouri doesn't have the sniffer test yet but perhaps in the future.
