I tried to send you a PM, but it said your mailbox was full, and that you need to clean some of them out to be able to get new messages.

But here is what it was going to say.

Membership is free..

Your vote for chapter leader will not count unless you register, and whatnot,

read here to find out how to join.

lol, thanks Curt. I will do that right now.

Yup, you can blame Dell for filling up my inbox. BTW, looks like they are going to leave the trailer/hoist Saturday morning and help me pull the engine on Saturday afternoon when you guys get back from Wichita.

Who wants to strip a Heep??? I offer food, beverages, and good times! Should be interesting seeing the body of it being rolled onto a trailer using pipes and comealongs!

Membership is free, to get your FTE underwear, it is about 20 bucks or so. It is optional, but it is money that goes toward running the site, it cuts down on or nearly eliminates the spam, and advertisements.
I got my FTE Underwear about a year ago, its time for me to send my money back in again.

Justin, see the blue banner under my user name with supporter. That doesn't refer to something I wear. LOL

You can become a FTE supporter by contributing for a membership. If you become a supporter it expands the number of emails you can have stored along with getting rid of lots of the advertizing when you log on. It is $19.99/ year or 59.99 for three years. If you go to your user cp you sign up under "paid subscriptions." Used to give you a t shirt if you signed up for 3 years. I didn't check to see if that still holds.

Justin KS Chapter membership is FREE. It doesn't cost a thing. In the sticky section the 4th Sticky down is how to be a Chapter member. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...s-chapter.html

The thing that cost is being a Club FTE member. It gives you access to a Club FTE board in the Forums section in addition to the other things listed.

Might let Chad or Curtis know once you have submitted your request for Chapter Membership and they can get in touch with Duane to see if he received it. Duane is really busy now but I'm sure he would take care of it right away if he know about it.

And yup, when folks become an club FTE member and get the Supporter banner under there name I kid um bout havein FTE underware. But I've been known to be a bit onrey from time ta time. Like tell un first time folks for a trip ta Colorado that the last time we went there we brought most of the folks back alive!

Wow, didn't even notice your guys's undies till now! I am so naive lol

I will have to do that, I'm all about supporting this great site and killing those horrid ads

I sent Duane a message through the Kansas Chapter signup right when I read about this, so could somebody by chance give him a poke to check his inbox? Not like he has anything better to do.....JK Duane!

Seems ta me there may be a little missunderstanding. We are talkin about two different things. Say ya have an arm and a leg. Two things that may be limbs but they are way different. That's the same with the Club FTE membership and the KS Chapter membership. Two different things.

The Club FTE membership cost money and dose all the things listed. When you have paid your money the Supporter badge will appear under your user name.

The KS Cha[pter membership does not cost amy thing. But you have to follow the instructions above to request to be a chapter member. If and only if you make the request properly will your request be sent the the chapter leader for review. The chapter leader can not make you a chapter member on his own. You need to make that formal request as outlined for the request to be gemerated and sent to the CL. It is not very difficult. IIRC you just need to click a few times and type in a brief sentance about why ya want to be a KS Chapter member. Then the CL has asection in their User CP that the request will show up in. And he can take care of it. There was no notification he has those. Least there didn't used to be. So he won't know the request is there untill he checks. To find out if someone is a KS Chapter member, just click on the user name and the profile page for that user will come up. On the right side are smaller windows for information like Mini Statistics, Garage, Friends, Albums, and under that will be Group memberships. That is where your KS Chapter membership will be displayed when you get it.

Sorry to be so long winded. And the best time I have found to get ahold of Duane is about 1-2 in the afternoon. He works till late and sleeps in the morning.
