I am having a new issue with the speedometer in my truck listed in my sig. While driving home from work today, I glanced down at me speedometer and noticed that I was traveling 100+ MPH. While my actual speed was in the area of 30 MPH, I'm sure you could imagine my shock, horror, and eventual amusement as I was entering an area that is heavily patrolled by some of our finest. The next traffic light that I stopped at, I noticed that when I was stopped, the speedometer was indicating 95 MPH. As I sped up, the indicator was sweeping like normal, but going from 95 forward to nearly 0. We returned home from a 500 mile trip on Sunday where the truck ran like a top. It sat outside at the firehouse last night and was covered in a 3 - 4 inch blanket of fresh snow. The outside temps were in the upper 20's and I had block heater plugged in most of the night. After letting the truck sit for about 30 minutes after getting home, I notice that the speedometer is now showing about 75 MPH. Any ideas what may be going on?
