Mirrors

Does anyone know where I can find the old style towing/big rig mirrors? Two mounts on top, three mounts on bottom? I cant seem to find any online

haha i was looking and acctualy i found a pair on my next project truck so ima steal those mirrors and put it on my truck.... the truck that i found em on is a late 60's f-350 that im savin from rustin out in the woods.

Back in the day we called them west coast mirrors if this is what you are talking about. Sure Plus: Big Truck Mounting Assemblies

How much larger? I looked at them but I cannot remember if they listed the dimensions of them or not

They have them for all size trucks. Just google west coast mirrors and you will get many hits. Search works better if you know what to ask for, ie. truck mirrors, or west coast mirrors

If you can find some off an old cabover they will not stick out very far and may be just about right.

iff you click the drop down bar right next to the go and click pickups and vans they will fit

these were on an older ford that I put on my truck...not the mount type you are looking for but they are stock for the dentsides..don't stick out too far and offer great visibility when trailering

Lostinfords pic is a "West coast mirror" 1979F350/460s pic is a "Jr. West coast mirror".

I believe FoMoCo calls Lostinfords' mirrors Type 3; 1979F350/460's mirrors are Type 2. They seem to be common on Camper Specials. I just shined up some Type 2s for mine after replacing all the hardware with stainless. Definitely makes a difference towing trailers.
