Send me one Jim!

I honestly cannot get it to come off, and I used silicone grease on the filter.

Here is a link to just the filter replacement, and no Tayln they are much cheaper.

50-70 bux for a 6637? i get mine from www.fleetfilter.com for $30 plus shipping......... discounts when you buy in bulk as well. don't know where Clay is getting his from..
Travis, the filter covers I use are from Pete at CoverTek and have actually had flow test done on them to prove that with the material he uses the cause almost zero restriction. So a covers only effect is to increase your filter life.

Tayln, I have no idea why you would use grease on the set up. Jim is also right, I wouldn't use a worm drive clamp on it. Also, my set-up comes with the following:

-6637 Filter
-SS T-bolt Clamp
-Powdercoated Adapter
-Cover

Thanks clay!

I'll hide in my corner now.

I used silicone on it to prevent cracking on the area.
And, well. I don't have any issues with my current clamp.
If you wanna throw one in my box when i put in my next order, go right ahead. =)

Clay, i need to get a 6637 set up from you so i can check it out vs the one that i built and so i can put it on my dads truck. i will call you this week. on the cover i was just taking info from Dale. i don't mind replacing my filter at my current intervals so i don't need to use a cover, but if y'all like the covers then thats kool. haha. maybe get a kit w/out a cover and drop a few bucks off the price? idk, whatever you wanna do.

Oreilleys carries the PA 2818 also. Just reach across the counter and smack them if they say they don't. Their computer is about impossible even when you give them the part number. I usually pay 20 something also for mine.

Yea. just plug it in and set it on the fender wall.
It throws a code if its missing, but doesn't care if it is plugged in.
Mine is zip tied outa the way.
Plugging it into the filter wont do a whole lot of good anyways, it wont have anything to read with as much air flow as you get.

Glad you like your kit!!!!!!

How long do these filters last in a not to dusty enviroment without the cover? Why get this filter and not a k&n cone or straight filter?

I posted about it in the article Kyle, as to why not to get a K&N.

They just do not filter enough.
