Excursion balljoints, my turn

I found a thread last night and can't find it again so here I go. I have a 2001 Excursion that we bought in 2001 Excursion w/ four wheel drive and 7.3 deisel. Now nearing 100.000 miles the right front balljoint has gone bad. It's my wife's and primary family vehicle. I don't remember what I typed on the search last night but no luck today. What is the currernt thought as to which ball joint brand and model is the best? I'm not sure that it will wait untill this summer. I do not have a press or torch but seem to have the other tools needed. I'm treating this as a one time thing and do not plan on laying out a lot of cash for special tooling. Is this something I should do in my driveway or send it out to a shop? The thread I was at last night had step by step instructions and a link to a parts list of Ford parts organized as a kit. I printed the kit last night and that's about it. Any link or such would also be helpfull.

When I installed the balljoints in my 05 Excursion I was able to get a loaner press from Advanced Auto, you pay $160 and when you return the press they refund the $160 and you don't have to purchase the parts there as I purchased the kit from Powerstrokeshop.com with Moog balljoints and all the seals.

I replaced all mine with the upgraded ones from napa that have a lifetime warranty and they are all greaseable they ran me $55 ea. for the top's and $65 ea. for the bottoms but when you replace them the you have to replace the steering knuckle o-ring runs about $6 bucks and also the inner axle seal run's like $16 at napa. I did the same thing as cbradford above rented the press kit and it really isn't that hard. good luck
