First mod to the truck was today. Installed Bed Rug box liner, it took about 2 hours from start to finish. Easy install, a little time consuming to put the tie down points back in but still easy.
Here are some pictures. The box extender works 100% so does the tailgate step. First class quality product so far.
Very Nice! That's what I will be getting when I upgrade in 2011. My buddy has one and swears by it. Concrete blocks, blood, dirt, gas, diesel, and nothing has harmed it.
I had the Bed Rug on my last truck and let me tell ya I was super impressed with the durability and overall quality of the Bed Rug. I hauled gravel, blocks muclsh, topsoil and firewood multiple times and never a problem. I am not at all tough on a truck but when I need to use it I am not afraid to either.
Now the downside of the rug, I am a clean freak and the Bed Rug sucks to keep clean. Prior to the Bed Rug I had always had drop in plastic liners and they were simple enough to sweep or hose out when needed. But let me tell ya the bed rug needs vacuumed to get the crud out of the fibers. Now I know some of you will say that is not a concern but if you’re buying the Bed Rug to have the benefits of the soft padded bed then the dirt and grime will bother you for sure. If you’re buying it so it looks nice then again the dirt will bother you as well. Just my 2 cents, I went with spay in this time around!!
