I have my 03 taken apart for an egr block off and oil cooler kit. Picked up a stc kit from the dealer today. Fellow was not the normal guy being Saturday and I ended up with an 05 kit. Took the hpop cover off and saw that will not work. My question, is there a kit for 03 and should I even screw with it? Looking at the posts, to 05 kit looks easy, I could not imagine what the 03 kit would be, doesn't look that simple. Thanks, Jim
Jim, the 03 doesn't have a STC fitting to worry about. Only the 05+. If you're having high pressure oil issues, maybe someone familiar with the 03-04 hpop issues will chime in.
I'm not having a problem, but I have read there is issues with the fitting, so since I was in there, I would update. I take back the parts guy comment.. Thanks for the reply, I'll sleep well.
ya the o3/o4 is different. I would think about replacing the pipe at the same time. if fit is good and no wear can be seen at the snap ring they all is good.
