1956 F100 Traction bars

I've got a 56 F100 with a built 460 in it and I'm getting the urge to take it out to the strip this spring. I'm looking for some bolt on traction bars to help stop the wheel hop.The rear end is stock with a 8" and a 3.25 gear.
Any idea's where I might find some? or maybe some plans to make some easy ones?

I have been very pleased with these. I got them out of the Summit Racing catalog for around $60. They eliminated the wheel hop entirely.

Those "slapper bars" as we called them are definitely easy and effective. Easily made by anyone with a welder, some flat stock, some 1 x 3 x 1/8" wall rectangular tubing, and a couple rubber frame bumpers. Just be sure to use spring U bolts or a 1/4" plate across the spring with two hardened bolts as spring clamps rather than hardware store soft square U bolts that will break the first hard launch (BTDT).

I had a set when I was 16...on my 1st 56 and believe me that truck got some good single wheel burnouts......I think those would do the trick, and sure will be faster than the yblock.....LOL
