I was pulling the tranny out of my 67 stang back in high school and slipped the wrech I was useing. I punched the bellhouseing and drove my class ring to the bone. My dad told me to be tough and finish the job. Later that same night the tranny sliped back as we were puting it up and smacked his fore head. it knocked him lupey and we had to take him in for stitches, talk about not finishing the job lol.
hahaha awesome, we may need to re name this thread! the how many times have you bled thread! the scab wound is not the issue, it is the so swollen finger that i cant even type with it issue! I am not complaining, just warning, DONT USE A GRINDER. use a sawzall with a metal blade!!!
Hey Wrecker I have never tried it but if you just cut it part way you may get a whine that sounds kinda like a turbo spooling, It would be a lot cheaper than a turbo and by the time the swelling goes down you may decide you like it.lol
In the old days a lot of guys used to drill holes in there exhaust to get a whistle.

LOL wrecker on a construction job a few years ago I was putting a cluthe in an F250 4x out in the dirt, and let the tranny get away from me and somehow my thumb got between the Tcase and the frame. meat came out both sides of it.
I was under the tranny so as soon as I got it stabbed I throwed my tools in the truck and went to the bar. It wasn't long before the super came in bitching because I wasn't at work. I didn't say anything but I pulled my thumbnail off and handed it to him, and his tune changed double quick.
I had a 3/4" box end slip off my tranny mount bolt when I was under the truck giving it my all with my body weight pulling. It slipped off and my left wrist flew into the cross member and left elbow into the frame. It hurt like a ****. No blood though.
