Shifting issue C6
I had a buddy of mine rebuild my edelbrock 650 cfm 2 days ago. Yesterday he came over and installed my carb. I drove the truck,for the first time in 2 years, down the highway to my new place about 18 miles. While at highway speeds 55ish it felt like the tranny wasnt shifting into drive, but staying in 2nd, as soon as i would let of the throttle it felt like it would shift into drive. Fluid is great and red, tranny shifted great before the carb was pulled off. So does anyone have any input on this issue? I was talking with a buddy of mine and he said he had the same issue on his el camino and it was a vacuum issue on the tranny.

ok, ill go check that now, and Big_Dom if i would have known there was a hose there i would have checked it! Im a Volkswagen guy, ive owned my truck for 5 years and only put 800 miles on it and these last few months are the most i have ever had to do besides change the oil and do a normal tune up on it
