i have a 79 f150 4x4 and i bought a bronco that had a 6 inch lift kit installed that i was going to swap and put on my truck. the bronco sat level with the 6 inch coils and springs but now the front of my truck sits about two inches higher after i put that lift on. can anyone explain this
Placement of mounts? I wouldnt have thought to put a bronco lift on a fullsize truck myself, however id be willing to bet that its the placement of the mounts on the frame.
Could just carefully measure the coils and cut them (not with a smoke wrench) and size them to fit nicely.
Or put air bags in the rear for an additional few inches to even it out
