i just ordered mine "8 MPG" since i'm tired of being behind a hybrid that has "50 MPG" on there plates lol. i would have got 9 on it insted since thats more like what it gets..9-10 but only 8 was left so i took it lol
i'll get pics in "up to 12 weeks" when i get them in..i'm excited!
I'm planning on getting some... they'll probably say "revolt", because my business is Revolution Real Estate, and I'll probably put advertising on my rear window.
If I go away from that plan, I'm open to the idea of using STFU ___ (need 3 letter suggestions for the environmentalist/tree hugger crowd.. EPA maybe?)
Here is the plate on the 2005 Excursion - the black "big brother" eye is for the back up camera - I have it aimed at the hitch to help in stabbing the stinger into the receiver on the Hensley Hitch.
Here is a pic of the '78 Airstream Trailer. The only duty of the Excursion is to pull the trailer - great way to travel with one woman and five dogs. The Excursion is the "perfect" Tow Vehicle for the Airstream. It is tow rated right at 20% in excess of the normal trailer weight (I am towing at 80% of the max rating - a good safety factor). I am not overloaded when I have the "normal" complement of "stuff" while on a trip - genny, butane, dog X-pens, cooler, tools - you would be surprised at how many pickups are overloaded, even some the 250 series p'ups, when the bed is loaded with camping stuff and then about 1,000 lbs of tongue weight is dropped onto the back bumber. And, best of all, I have the standard "soft" springs on the Excursion - great ride - almost compares to a luxury car ride, and there is almost no vibration transmitted through the tongue to the trailer. No rivets shaking loose, nothing falling out of the cabinets or the closets, and no seals becoming unglued to let moisture into the trailer.

And the tag that was on my old 71 F100... It was to be "handed down" to the boys but a finished basement seemed much more important than a truck they couldn't drive...

Here's a pic of "Casper" with my old F250SD...

Funny coincidence. My best friend's personalized plate on his F250 is "MY3SONS"
