Wow, this is a blast from the past. I don't have a personalized one on mine, but I did go through a lot of trouble to transfer my very first plate. It started out on my '02, and contains the letters EX, so it's about as personalized as I can get for a standard issue plate.
However, due to Michigan's dumb ten year plate replacement law, the plate will probably have to be replaced soon. When the time comes, I'll be going personalized.
Speaking of the ten year plate thing, I think they go by the first registered year of the vehicle. I bought mine and a year later they claimed the 10 year rule and I had to buy a new plate. I tried to call them on it but they just looked at me with that "I dont care" look.
Not on the EX but the plate on my '07 GT500 is "WECANGO". Its an old street racing thing. I also have an 'M' plate on my race car.

Interesting, because if mine followed that, 2012 or 2015 would have been the last year for me, depending if they'd go on the first vehicle it was registered to or the most recent.
A friend has a plate close numerically to mine on his 2000 Ranger, and his renewal paperwork just came that made him upgrade it to a new plate. We both got ours in 2007.
