Sitting for 6 weeks? Problem?

Hey all,

I'm looking to leave the cold for a while - anything I need to worry about with my 7.3 sitting for about 6 weeks in cold temps?

(other than obvious potential for battery to discharge)

Mine sat for over 4 months while I was in Iraq -- no biggie...

I agree with Izzy, it shouldn't be a problem. If it is sitting outside, I check under the hood for varmints before trying to fire it up the first time, but other than that it shouldn't hurt anything. Mine sat a lot two years ago when diesel was $5 a gallon.

Cool...thanks.

Guess I'll just fill up the tank and hit the road then.
