I thought Ive read on here that if u are driving say 55mph and tap and hold the brake while still given it throttle ur RPM should jump up, cause ur tc would unlock. Is this rite?
Regardless of whether or not you're running an Edge Evolution, your torque converter strategy will not change. The Evo "builds" a program based off of your factory computer calibration as it DOES NOT replace the operating code with a different one like a 4-bank chip can.
If you have an 01, you likely have a PMT2 or PMT3 PCM code. The simple answer to your question would be that your torque converter clutch will not disengage when you tap the brake pedal at 55 MPH.
It is a pain when the torq unlocks when you tap the brakes, mine also unlocks about 30 seconds when I let off the throttle
I been thinking of trying a PMT1 or PMT2 PCM
