1992 ford engine question
I just recently replaced my torque converter after the truck sat about a month. .When i got it done, i have oil pressure(engine) problem. the truck starts fine and the oil pressure looks good at startup, but after a few seconds, it will go to no pressure and the engine starts to rattle for a few seconds and pressure comes back and rattle is gone,it does this continually, the pressure builds and than goes to zero, what I would like to know is when I rotated the engine backwards when i took out the torque converter bolts, could i have messed the oilpump up? the oil needs to be changed, cause it is pretty gunky, or could the pump go out without warning?
