heat/defrost

noticed an interesting problem today. my dash switch does not seem to work no matter what i have it set on it only blows out the defrost.any ideas where to start looking? thanks ed

You have a vacuum leak some where. You have 4x4 ESOF with the **** on the dash, right? Look at the vacuum lines going to your hubs to make sure they are not unhooked or cracked.

good call miller feed,hose broke at mount near brake line.i pulled off broken piece and re attached. ill probably have to change out some lines this summer,there getting a little rotted it looks like.the temp in michigan is about 0 im glad this was only a 1 minut job

The factory hose is not good, when you get a chance, change the hoses to some good ones. Glad it was an easy fix for you.

It takes about 22"-23" of 3/16" transmission grade hose and those puppies will last you a lifetime.
