C6 rebuild
Hello all. . .
I'm looking at rebuilding a C6 for a bronco 4x4 with a 351. I'd like to beef it up a little. Any tips or suggestions? Where is a good place to purchase a rebuild kit? Thanks.

Rebuilds kits are available from most auto parts outlets, advance/autozone. Also see alot of C6 stuff on ebay motors. As far as "beefing it up", I can't really help you with that since I have never actually rebuilt a auto transmission. I do know that the C6 is an extremely strong trans to start with, I have only ever killed one. The vent tube rotted, we had it out in the sand, sucked sand into the trans..... enough said there. I am sure there is some tricks and tweeks for them though. There is actually a forum just for C6 transmissions, you may want to trying reposting your questions there.
