Well, its been a long wait, but I am almost there... I now have all my parts (accept the heads that will be ready on Friday). I hope to be putting my new motor in on Saturday.
I do have one question though... I received my new H2E, and had a quick shuffle through the boxes... It appears this may be a pretty serious project in itself fitting this new turbo on... Anyone have any words of wisdom? At least I get to fit it all up when its sitting on the engine stand in front of me...
I am a little confused by the Pedistal... I have a large flat bracket (about 3/8" or better) thick... I can't seem to find the peice that connects that plate to the turbo... Anyone describe it to me?
Here are a few... (I started taking pics AFTER I put the pistons in... Should have started before...) The ones I have in there now, are fitting up the H2E.
Not modded, but spoke to Jody, he said it should be right around 500hp without modding... (You agree?)
Went out to the garage last night and fit everything on the block... Got it all figured out now...
Possibly -- what is the flow in CFM of the un-mod'ed H2E? If it's the same or better than the 38r, then yes.
Nice pics, BTW. If the thing you're asking about is the wastegate solenoid, then yes you can just disconnect it. I yanked mine off when I went to the van turbo.

That Photo is of the little thing that the Green and RED hoses plug into... Can it be disconnected?
