I too have a four inch lift on my 79 and i dont run a drop bracket, but BroncoGraveyard.com sells an adjustable track bar thats what i run and it works great.
I think they all come from the same manufacturer. Don't wait until the last minute to order it cuz mine was on back order for 3 months from SuperLift as part of their kit. I cancelled that order after calling Rocky Mountain Offroad (NC) and Marge, the owner, was kind enough to do all the calling to round up a 4-inch lift system. She found one and it came from Rough Country.
Btw, watch out for duplicate part numbers because RC's track bar has the same number as one for a Jeep TJ. Guess how I found that out! RC did the right thing and swapped it out with a "call tag" (UPS return shipment).
i dont think i want to get an adj. trac bar as its more expensive than a drop bracket. im kind of "building" my own kit- more of a performance kit than a mall crawling kit. i was thinking about ordering one of jbg, and then copying one and send theres back but then i might as well keep it for $30. just thought i might be able to have some luck and someone on here have made one and kind of know how to tell me how to make mine. Thanks though guys
Well if ur front axle isnt located where u want it in relevance to the frame of your truck, you would wish u went with an adjustable track bar, trust me ive been there. You mentioned building a performance kit? With performance ur going to need adjustment right? to fine tune the "performance" in your kit. Good luck on your build.
